She was everyone definition of a friend. In addition to the qualities she possessed, she was extremely intelligent.
The lady and I(blogger) were very close friends that we actually participated in contest representing our department which we won!!! She was the desire of every lecturer because of her goodwill and cheerful nature.
However, her story didn't just go on being comedy without a tragedy.....
We resumed for second semester (100 level only to discover that this lady was with an engagement ring and was not just married but also pregnant....).
The Story....
There was a man(named withheld) from the same hometown as the said girl...This man pretended to be a responsible and came to seek the hand of girl; whom was underage(ages between 13-years) with a very small stature with everything attributes she possess reflecting her age bracket; in marriage.
The girl's parents and the said girl objected to the man's proposal.... Being the devil's incarnate and someone who really had a view of destroying the lives of Nigerian children, went ahead to plot with a pastor to tell a false prophecy that "God has instructed the girl to marry the man and blah! blah!! blah!!!

The girl's parents who believed in Child's proper training never wanted their child(victim) married at that early age or make wrong decisions tried everything possible to stop the marriage, but due to respect and faith in religion, they had to because "God was involved"; THEY LET IT HAPPEN!!!...Sooooo sorry a situation!!!
The lady was in her first year in the university when this situation befell her.
As you can imagine, Being a girl with a fragile heart and mind; She believed him and fell in love with him but that was not all.... This desperate man also forced her into believing he loved her and wanted the best for her ; and decided to get her pregnant.....at an early age!!!
This lady was in pains all through a period of nine months until the time for her to deliver came... Meanwhile, all through the nine months, she kept attending lectures, tests, exams and all other school activities under a strenuous condition while this man went on gallivanting around...
After nine months, when it was time to put to bed, she had issues putting to bed easily, which i think was due to small uterus. She was forced to undergo a caesarean operation which may have lead
The man paid a pastor who later confessed to the girl and her family after a sudden illness befell him that he was paid to deliver the false prophecy he revealed concerning her marriage... This is really hash!!!!
